NUNNS - on Saturday morning, December 21, JOSEPH NUNNS, aged 67 years. The friends and relatives of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, from his late residence, Cypress Hills, Long Island, on Monday afternoon at two o'clock.

- Kings Co., NY Will & probate 7 Apr 1868 v. 35 p.387 was the reference I found to the probate record of Joseph Nunns. I sent for the record and when the probate record of Joseph Nunns arrived it was filed in the Surrogate's Court of Kngs Co., NY, File #1868-00004.
The Application for probate stated:
late of the town of New Lots, deceased.
Kings County, to wit:
I John T. Lee of Plainfield, New Jersey being duly sworn and examined, do depose and say that I am Executor named in the last WIll and Testament of Joseph Nunns late of the town of New Lots in the County of Kings, deceased, That the deceased was, at the time of his death, an inhabitant of the County of Kings, and departed this life in said County on the 21st day of December in the year 1867; that said last Will and Testament related to both Real and Personal Estate, and that the widow, heirs, and next of kin of said deceased are as follows, to wit: his widow Elizabeth Nunns residing at Chelsea, Massachusetts, and brothers and sisters to wit: Robert Nunns residing at East Setauket, L.I. John Nunns, William Nunns, Henry Nunns and Maria M. wife of Joseph Wadleton all residing in the City of New York. Mary wife of S. A. Smith residing at Zion, Cecil County Maryland, the children of Mrs. Ennever a deceased sister to wit; Mary A. Wife of H. Nunns residing at East Setauket, L I, Emma Ennever, Sarah J. Ennever, Hezekiah N. Ennever and Robert J. Ennever, residing at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Joseph S. Ennever, Caroline Ennever and Henry Ennever all residing in the City of Philadelphia, Penn, The children of Mrs. Thompson, a deceased sister to wit: Robert N. Thompson, and Elizabeth Allen residing in the City of New York, WIlliam N. Thompson residing at San Andreas, Calevaris Co., CA all of Full age except Henry Ennever. Sarah J. Ennever, Hezekiah N. Ennever and Robert J. Ennever.
