- This is the last Will
and testament of me William
Enever of Westmill in the County of Hertford ffarmer first I give and
bequeath unto my nephew William Enever son of > Abraham Enever
the sum of One hundred pounds of lawful money also I give and
bequeath unto my niece Sarah Partoon now living with me the
like sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money both which before
mentioned legacies I > shall be paid at the end of > Calendar
months > after my demise I give devise and bequeath unto my
beloved wife Catherine Enever all the rest residues & remainder
of my household goods farming stock crop utensils and implements >
> book debts personal Estate and effects whatsoever and
Wheresoever and of what nature or > > for her own absolute
Use and benefit the paying thereout all my just debts funeral and
testamentary expenses and the legacies above bequeathed and I give
and devise unto my said beloved wife and to her heirs Executors admons
and afsigns all the > and Estates vested in me as trustee
mortgagee or otherwise subject to and upon the equities and trusts
affecting the same and lastly I appoint my said beloved wife to be Exor
of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me
heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this sixteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and twenty seven Wm. Enever Signed sealed published
and declared by the said testator as and for his last will and testament
in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the
presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnefses Thos.

- Wadbarns Farm, also recorded as Watbones Farm, continued to be farmed by the Partoon family. Sarah, sister of Williams's wife, Catherine, had married William Partoon. See 1851 census when George Partoon, Framer of 313 Acres, and whose sister, Mary, was the House Keeper. George is there also in 1861 as Farmer of 317 acres.

- 5.10. Enever Monument in St Mary's churchyard - Grade II. Tomb chest. Early 19th century. To Judith Enever died 1811, William Enever died 1838, and his 2nd wife. Limestone. Rectangular tomb chest on raised curb. Moulded base. Rectangular panel on each face with inscribed oval and fan pattern in each spandrel. Inset fluted Greek Doric column at each corner. Rectangular projecting top slab with reeded edges. This structure is included on the Council's Heritage at Risk Register and is thus potentially eligible for grant assistance.
