    MRS. E. C HARRIS.
    Mrs, John Kirkpatrick ("Logan Brae"), now of Boonara, Wallaroy-crescent, Double Bay, has received news from America of the unexpected death of her daughter, Dorothy, who married Mr. Edward C. Harris in San Francisco early In the present year. Tho latter will be remembered as pianist with Messrs. Althouse and Middleton during their second starring tour of Australia three years ago. At the time of her death Mrs. Harris was on her way from San Francisco where her husband was musical critic of "The Bulletin," in the Western city, to New York. During the previous eight years Mr. Harris had toured the Eastern States with many operatic stars, Including Marie Sundelius, Duselini Giannini, and John Coates, the English tenor. Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Federal Architect, and a sister of Mr. Herwald G Kirkpatrick, an architect also well-known In Sydney.
